Does the implant placement procedure hurt?
Implant placement is done using a local anesthetic, which
makes the procedure painless. After the expiration of
anesthesia can be taken painkillers if needed. At
placing 1 implant most often it is not even necessary!
When more implants are placed, the manipulation is more
traumatic but again painless as it progresses. Symptoms
during the postoperative period depend on the volume of the surgical
manipulation, respectively, the number of implants placed.

Depending on the starting position and the diagnosis, the implant (s) may

by adding a bone substitute.
There are also quite a few cases where it is necessary to wait for formation
of new, stronger and more stable bone. It takes 3-4 months.
